Being already very famous writer, Elliot cannot get rid of demons of the past in any way. He over and over again comes back by the childhood from which did not take out practically anything, except pain. Mother died when he was absolutely small, and the father vented on it all the rage and cruelty, rescue from which the boy found in drugs. Having splashed out the saved-up emotions on paper, Elliot instantly becomes popular, but at once faces the literary block. He throws a social life and becomes the hermit, communicating only with the excentric computer genius Hank Rayzer accused of murder of own wife.
